Vostro 430 MT, memory upgrade
Hi, I'm having for a long time a Vostro 430 MT and very happy with it. Though I'd like to upgrade the ram in order to have better performance. I found in this thread with the following information: memory.png If I understand it well, it would not be possible to have a configuration with 12GB (2x2GB + 2x4GB)? Or is it possible? In any case, which brand is the best to buy for this PC? I read a lot of different type of info about it that are contradictory.

Thank you for your message. This system supports DDR3- 1066, 1333MHz Non-ECC 4 DIMM slots with a maximum of 16GB.
You can install 12 GB memory provided they meet the above specifications. We always recommend you upgrade memory which has the same specifications in all terms.
