Vostro 420 Will not connect to network

I have a Dell Vostro 420 that I did a clean install of Windows 10.  The network card will not connect to the network, Its shows as unplugged, even though it is plugged into a hot network drop.

I have tried:

flashing the BIOS

Uninstalling the network card and installing the latest drivers

Trying to connect using a USB network adapter

Checking the BIOS to make sure the adapter is enabled.

Any other suggestions

Did you also install drivers starting with the chipset?

I would not want to leave it like that, but good test.
You might have to disable on-board NIC from BIOS.

Try ipconfig /release ...  then ...  ipconfig /renew

If no NICs work, then you have a different problem. Are you sure router is configured properly and handing out IPs from DHCP pool?
