no case size stated by you, at all , there is not just one  PC here, ok>

see this? see the dell sales page, see the 2 sizes,  one IS YOURS, and not TOLD YET, now details

DELL Vostro 3670 SFF 5479

the narrow PC, below. ? this? see the silly DVD drive, here?

bad news 2, is the PSU in this PC below, uses very tiny non ATX spec PSU,. do you have this PC, IDK but do you? is this so hard to tell what you really have,

1100382_dell_vostro_3670_sff_5479.jpg

or MT sizes,  not to scale of above, but see that HORZ. DVD there, that is HUGE  CLUE. this case uses full height cards, unlike above, PC. (low)

the good news on this PC is the PSU is full sized, but has non ATX power cables , no 24pin. there.

adaptors are cheap and work. if you have this PC , do you?

mt.JPG

lets go simple the HP case or LP ,case high profile or low profile

High first, the GUTS inside. see that huge PSU there,  and ALL THAT HUGE SPACE ? HP case. high profile.

we have many posts here at dell, with users putting in a huge 750watt PSU no longer than below.

3670-large.jpg

see the lack of space and gross alien PSU there?  avoid this, PC. if wise. and the silly hinge there/?

this PC below must have  low profile card 80mm tall max. (3.1" imperial inches)

the mobo and PSU use DELL only power jacks no 24pin plug.

the adapters are sold in vast places.

the PSU can be too small wattage

the PSU can be missing GPU card, AUX power cables. as seen here clearly, all that.

this fits ONLY THE HP case High profile full sized wide case PC, and has no 24pin plug. adapter is $7

Dell makes an optional 365W power supply for their 3 Gig GTX 1060 card.

Non Dell cards will require secure boot OFF and Legacy csm ON.

ONLY VIDEO CARD that is ok for the 290w POWER SUPPLY is GT1030.

https://www.dell.com/en-us/work/shop/msi-gt-1030-2g-lp-oc-graphic-card-2-gb-gddr5-pcie-30-x16-low-profile-hdmi-displayport/apd/aa362018/graphic-video-cards?ref=p13n_ena_pdp_vv&c=us&cs=04&l=en&s=bsd

Dell OEM full height but short video cards work with our Dell OEM 365w PSU =

This power supply is 8 pin 7VK45 T1M43 365W

While it fits in a 3670 it DOES NOT FIT into a 3650 for example.

Well I am sure that my answer is coming late. Just put the 1650 inside and go for it.

However first make sure that:

1. It's not an overclock version of 1650 who need supplemental 12V.

2. It's not too long.

thanks for answer me , my dell desktop' name is  dell vostro 3670 MT 42VT37D018 , it not full size , it pretty small

a full contradicton that,  it is no MT, must be the SFF, sizes with low profile cards 80mm height and not 120MM.

my wild guess is you have the LOW PROFILE CASE,  called by dell simply DESKTOP,

Im not playing game .

I use mastercam software for my job , this software require NVDA card(o

. but now i can't use psu 290W for GTX 1650 .

why say that, some 1650 (mine ) mine use only 75watts, max,  off the x16 slot and has no AUX PORT at all.

this is too wild to imagine. and is no longer a DELL PCs and off topic, yes.

I will move everything inside dell desktop to new case ( except the psu and mainboard ) ,

and buy new mainboard .  What do you think about it ? is that ok ? ,buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

the PC can run a 1650 in fact most PCs made and IF? you can plug it in the x16 it will work.

The card uses only 75watts, leaving over 215watts extra for the other parts.  upgrade to SSD and get 12 to 25 more watts on tap..

even unplug useless DVD drive power cable most folks have no need for DVD now,  if you are like that,?

the I7-9700 ( got that, IDK) uses only 65 watts max.  (read  fast and cool, GEn9 can do that)

why buy any SFF>?  the real PC is only  $30 more new, and you lack desk space for a real PC,  I can not imagine that, Id sell it and get a real PC, no really and sorry to say.

A real PC can run ANY card, made. ask. (w10 certified)

the 1560 is great card, it is the entry point to TURiNG class GPU chip.

fast too. and needs no Aux power cables so common seen missing on dells.

there are 12 maker of cards,  lots.

and each has many card models to sell, ,huge,

each maker also offers cards in VARIANTS. , some makers have huge variants, even VRAM sizes  and fans no size and well lots,..  of choices, why not look at newegg.com first. see that for your self see the left column filters

see all those choices, even PORT types and even with 4 ports, yes LOOK first, see that?

card length, and tall. (yes avoid OC versions)ME GUESSING WILD LOW PROFILE CARDS 80mm tall max.

you want to 75watt card, .

lets do the GPU shuffle (song and dance), again, endless , rinse wash and repeat, again.

  • tell the Helper what PC you have,  my wild guess SFF, small form factor PC, with low profile cards only.
  • the card must actually fit,  most 1650 cards are tiny, super small and fast.
  • the card must not overload the X16 slot as it can on older nasty dells. SFF etc.  seems this is ok here.
  • The card must not overload the PSU, my guess not, if running SSD0 drive, you have extra power.
  • The card must not have AUX ports as some high end huge vram and OC rated cards do, yah vast cards there are,  but far far less low profile , sure.
  • the Card must have a PORT that you can use, for you unstated monitor. oops.?
  • the Card must not cause PC to overheat inside, my guess no problem here, (Im still guessing case)
  • the card must support W10 and does. below 700 series FAILS,  You're ok on that  rule).

Did I nail them all>?

now newegg, just to shows you there are 8 makers of 12 and they are NOT ALL THE SAME< oK?

low profile is 3 makers, there, see why SFF is bad PC to own, limits choices  and not max..

https://www.newegg.com/p/pl?d=1650+%2C+low+profile

the Asus card there is super wide card the will no fit some SFF PC.' uses 2 slots wide and no AUX.

if you have 2 slots free, this can work.

only looking works

you never posted 1 photo of your PC (why) and showed the insides, I can not guess insides of any PC.

or of other cards are in PC and in the way. see? no I cant.

NO PHOTO OF YOUR PCs,  inside or rear, best.

inside x10 better.

click photo icon below,  and photo.  end.   no forum is more easy to add photos ,kids play simple for SURE.

learn that 1650 is chip, and is used on vast classes of cards,  with vast options, new egg is best to see all those options, sure overwhelming,  to many but gee GPU is complex topic and CARD,

just buy one and try it,  be brave the PC will not blow up, or catch fire,  if you use one rule,

never hot swap anything inside this PC.

i7-9700, 24gb ddr4, gtx1650S, sata ssd (no optical drive)

Load Wattage: 233 W
Recommended PSU Wattage:283 W

Stock 290w psu is borderline good enough.

whether it fits chassis physically depends on specific model of card (length).

user benchmark shows MSI 1650S has been installed in this pc.
