Vostro 3471 have a big problem with Microphone Slot in Front and Back side port

This Vostro model have a big problem with Microphone. Dell executive already checked with my system, they even not able to resolve the problem of microphone in online or offline method.

While plugging Earphone in Front line in , audio is coming ok, but mike is not showing. how this possible. ?
