Vostro 3470, frequent issue connecting to WiFi
I have been using the Dell Vostro 3470 Desktop PC for a while now. But, have noticed that it has some issue connecting to my Wi-Fi h-spot at home, and I have to run "Troubleshoot problems" which fixes the issue. The fix doesn't explain much about what was wrong, but merely states that the wi-fi adapter was reset etc. and that the issue was "fixed". While the issue stays fixed for the session, even on a reboot, it often shows the same issue (with a yellow exclamation mark over Wi-fi icon on taskbar, stating "unidentified network", even for wi-fi h-spot whose setting is saved earlier). Tried to get help from Dell Support who seemed equally clueless about this recurring issue, and just said I could run the "Troubleshoot problems" to fix it.
Does anyone else face this issue on a daily basis like I do ? If so, what's the workaround to fix this issue fully ?

Have you considered its the Wi-Fi unit and not the PC that is the problem?

@fireberd- I live in a remote place with no wired internet connection. Hence, I manage on a Wi-Fi connection which works on a 4G mobile connection. Even when I turn my 4G-LTE capable smartphone into a mobile h-spot and access internet on my laptop thru it, feel same issue. So, seems the PC's Wi-Fi device/card is the issue. Dell Support doesn't care to send a technician, even though the PC is under warranty, and tell me to just run "Troubleshoot Problems" from the taskbar.

@fireberd- Thanks for sharing the link to download the recent wi-fi drivers for my Vostro 3470 Desktop PC. This is already installed on my PC, as noted from Device Manager. Only a new driver "Intel Rapid Storage Tech..." was available which I had to update manually as it failed to install thru SupportAssist App.
It's possible, as you said, that it's an intermittent issue due to Wi-Fi h-spot being unstable (it's a cheap Chinese product provided by my ISP). Thanks anyway !

@fireberd - Okay. I thought it's best to leave it to Dell's Support Assistant to do the checking and updating of drivers. But like you said, the Intel Rapid Storage Tech... driver/file which I had manually downloaded and installed today wasn't getting installed thru Dell's own SA for over past 2 months, which I kept ignoring. Maybe I should manually check & install newer drivers from Dell's website periodically. Also, the Dell SA program icon had mysteriously disappeared from my desktop, though I can run in by searching for it. Strange !

Manual downloading and updating drivers is actually better. We have seen many reports of problems using the Dell Support Assist (even failed to boot).
As its intermittent I would suspect the Wi-Fi router or Interference with the wi-fi RF signal.
