Vostro 3268 SFF, boot OS from PCIe NVMe SSD?
Dear DELL Support,
Despite of the Dell Vostro 3268 SFF 's BIOS doesn't support OS boot from a M.2 NVMe drive because it didn't come with a M.2 slot, we would like to have an option to make bootable a PCIe x16 SSD CARD .
The BIOS finds the PCIe x16 SSD and it shows up in the "current configuration" list in BIOS menu, is possible to install Windows 10 on it in uefi mode, but >> the bios << doesn't give an option to manually add a uefi boot path addressing to the PCIe card and is not giving any boot path option to that PCIe SSD.
Dell, please enable BIOS to support PCIe SSD cards to be bootable.
(We have more Vostro under warranty and would like to equip them with a PCIe SSD)

PCI-e NVMe Boot card is never an option because you do not have an X4 slot.

The 3268 does not have compatible X8 slot nor does the power supply support this.

The SSD is inserted and working under Windows.
The BIOS found the SSD in bios settings. But does not allow to boot from it .
Please , I need help about how to make it bootable, not about compatibility and powers.

PCI-E NVME booting is either in bios or its not.
Any NVME drive requires F6 mass storage drivers and SATA OPERATION Set to AHCI.
You then boot media and format and install windows.
Windows 1809 1903 1909 require OEM system builder DVD. INSTALL.WIM no longer fits onto FAT32 media.
NTFS and EXFAT are not supported.

I also want [Dell, please enable Vostro 3267 SFF BIOS to support PCIe SSD cards to be bootable.],too.
