Vostro 3268, adding a second HDD and case fan question
Hi, I want to add a second 2.5 HDD. My PC shipped with a SSD and I can see in the user guide it mentions: Internally Accessible — 3.5–inch/2.5–inch drive bays - One 3.5–inch or Two 2.5-inch drive bays. I really hope it's possible to add a second drive.
I took that to assume I could add either another 2.5 SSD or 2.5 HDD. Total newbie here but will there be a spare SATA connector on the motherboard and will the new drive just slide into the existing cage on this machine? Also would I need another connector or do these usually ship with a new drive?
Two final questions. Do the system fan (case fan) always stay on, on these machines? It doesn't seem to be spinning too fast. I've also noticed when I shut down, the fan (not always and not sure if its the case fan or CPU fan ) gives a very brief but louder woosh noise.
Thanks in advance if anyone can help!

Update: I've opened it up. I can see space in the current cage for another 2.5 hdd. I can also see the spare sata 2 slot on the motherboard for the data cable. However, there is no spare power supply connector from the PSU. How do I power the SSD? Seems stupid not to have a spare SATA power supply from the PSU. So do I power with a Sata splitter cable from the current cable or can I power from the spare PCIex1 slot?
Sorry for the newbie questions
