Vostro 200, speaker, regedit
Hi Guys.
I have problem with our own office computer Dell Vostro 200. Few months ago I switched off integrated speaker somewhere in regedit and I want to switch on now but I can't find correct key.
It is not Beep or Extended Sounds.
When I go to Hardware Device Manager it tells but that there is no speaker installed and in the right side corner of the screen small icon speaker is with red x.
Software Windows 7 Pro.

next time export the reg, section to xyz.reg.
then latter undoing it is cake walk
there are 2 cures.
reload the driver fresh from Dell.com for YOUR PC. only.
or using a older restore point , GO THERE)
ever been at dell.com in your very own support page (means you and all 200 owners)
? bingo, all your driver are there an for sound too.
way 3.
in DM, (web connected) click on sound driver, right click and chose update driver. (pnp magic may work)
short answer : (endless topic sound) reload the driver.

The business speaker is not switchable on or off.
If the OEM driver is not installed for sound windows does not even register it.
