Use Old Dell SATA Driver or Windows 10 22H2 Generic Driver ?

My apologies if this has already been answered but my search came up with nothing similar.

PC is an old Vostro 3900G MT which still runs fine. Storage is a WD Blue SA510 2.5 500GB. 

I preload the old Intel 8 Series C220 Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller 11/17/2015 driver when I reinstall Windows 10 22H2.

Some folks say to use the Windows 10 generic SATA AHCI Controller. Others say that the latest drivers don't work well with old PCs. (I don't RAID!)
