Upgrading the ram memory for vostro 3668
I have a desktop pc, dell vostro 3668 with processor Intel 7th Generation Core i5-7400 3.00 Ghz
Iwant to upgrade the memory ram to 2x8 GB. the only thing is i dont see in the manual is if the memory modules should be ECC or non-ECC
Can you tell me if i should care about this fact when buying a memory module ?

You must get the right ram-non ECC. Go to Crucial.com and get all the answers. The manual with the specs will also list the configurations--you must check. Crucial is good place to buy Dell ram.

Should be non-ecc. ECC memory is used in servers. Look at the product specs offered at crucial.com and I'll bet they are all non-ecc
