TIME & DATE IN BIO'S SET UP ------Vostro 3470

I have   Vostro 3470  and  lately   I  am left   to  tackle with  an  issue  pertaining  to    the  Bio's set  up  ;  and  even though  after  choosing the  tab  in  BIOS  to  set  the  time  and  date ,  the  "apply"  option  tab  does not  highlight  even  after setting  them  right  as   the  issue  keeps  cropping   up   each  time  the  PC  is  started .  Can  someone  having  faced , similar  issue  can   help ?
