Nothing on monitor, steady amber on switch led.
Dell Vostro 3910, won't finish Post. Fans turning, power supply light is steady green.Drive light blinks occasionaly. No video on monitor. Won't try to boot from CD/DV
1. Nothing appears on monitor screen. Installed video card, still nothing on screen. Swapped to known working monitor, same.
2. Power switch LED shows steady amber.
3. Removing CMOS battery results in led blinking pattern for dead battery.
4. Removing RAM shows blink code for bad/no RAM

You may try to perform RTC reset. With the power is connected, press and hold power button for 30 seconds. The RTC reset restores the BIOS to defaults and resets the computer's date and time. The computer restarts several times during the reset process. Depending on how the computer is configured, you may see LED indications during the period the power button is held and after it is released. Once the reset is complete, the computer restarts and the Dell logo appears indicates reset success.
