Maximum amount of RAM for a Dell Vostro 3668 desktop (Dell 0VFD52, Intel Core i5-7400)
The technical specification page for this desktop model says:
Up to 16 GB 2 UDIMM slots at 2400 MHz DDR4 for Vostro 3668 systems
I don't understand: is it allowed to install two 16 GB modules, or is the maximum amount of RAM 16 GB, provided that two 8 GB modules are installed?

It gets confusing. @Mary G is correct with the Crucial specs. Also Dell, Kingston, and DMS also list 16 GB as maximum. If 32 GB is going to be tried then I would suggest purchasing from a retailer that allows returns if the RAM total is not compatible.
