kb216 unresponsive

i own a kb216 wired keyboard with a vostro 3670. few days ago, unplugging it to empty an usb spot and plugging again after few minutes, the keyboard became totally unresponsive. i checked:

- registry keys (the kdbclass is present)
- reinstall drivers
- unplug the pc keep the start button pressed for 30 sec. and power on again
- change usb port
- start in safe mode
- change power options related to usb management
- turning off the " Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
- a clean install of windows 10

to no avail.
how is it possible that the keyboard is dead?

there were no power outages. Could the keyboard have been disabled by the operating system?

there are no drivers for this keyboard on the dell site. is it possible to install a driver for this keyboard in some way?

thanks.

Did you get a resolution to this? Or was your keyboard, in fact, dead??
