Dell Vostro 3671 ram upgrade

I just bought a new ram for my dell Vostro 3671 cpu, the ram I bought has a frequency of 3200mhz while my cpu uses an i3 9100 with a frequency of 2400mhz, generally if the frequency of the ram speed is too large compared to what it should be, it will lower it to adjust, but what about the dell cpu? my new ram which should have been lowered to 2400mhz is not readable... is there an xmp option in dell to adjust the ram?

Dell Vostro does not support XMP.  System should downclock memory speed to 2400 MT/s.  You may have upgraded with incompatible memory.  If you prefer third party RAM, Crucial offers compatible memory with lifetime warranty and support https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/dell/vostro-3671

Review system specs for memory options  https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-us/vostro-3671-desktop/vostro3671_mt_setupspecs/memory-specifications?guid=guid-5a94d12b-6cb0-453d-8a80-3d15d6040fe7&lang=en-us

I use cpuz to check ram and I get ram with frequency 2666mhz while in product details dell Vostro 3671 for i3 9100 should use 2400mhz so which one is correct? is ram 2400T also supported in this computer?
