Dell Vostro 3471 M.2 SSD (NVMe or SATA)
Hi All,
Just bought a Vostro 3471 with a 9th gen i5. I am going to be upgrading the cloning the HDD to an SSD and useing the original HDD as a storage drive.
I am unsure what M.2 SSD I should be buying. Can anyone please give me some advice?
Thank you.

Vostro 3470 manual states that the M.2 SSD slot is for a B keyed SATA M.2 SSD.

M.2 SATA 2230 or 2280 where 22 is width in mm and 30 or 80 the length in mm.

Setup manual specifies one M.2 2230/2280 SATA solid-state drive SATA with AHCI, up to 6 Gbps interface
That is 22 mm wide and 30 or 80 mm long.
I installed a Kingston 480 GB 2280 SSD
Dell service manual shows how to install but figures were not too clear to me. Wife helped!!! And I needed help in migrating or cloning my OS from a tech at EaseUS because I could not change boot sequence myself.
