yes it will.  make sure your pc bios>sata operation is set to be AHCI and not RAID.  you might need to initialize the new hdd (create new GPT partition) then format it (NTFS) in disk management of Windows if it were currently blank having no partition.

this user validated 2x6 TB in V470.  there is no max HDD.

The primary (Master) Seagate internal hard drive 3.5" 3TB has been working fine with windows 10 on my computer since a long time ago and I never had any issue.

Remember the secondary internal hard drive 3.5" 10TB SATA is only for storage data.

The link just shows high capacity hdd is fine w V470. No need to look too closely.

a brand new hdd is often “unallocated” which means it has no partition.  In that case you need to create a single new partition in it followed by format, before the hdd can show up in Windows.

BIOS will be able to detect a brand new hdd without partition b/c it uses machine language to read the hdd firmware level spec.
