What would be happened if the 1st full copy of replication is aborted?
Hi there.
I'm just wondering what will be happened if the 1st full copy of replicator v2 session is aborted.
I created a new replication session from source VNX5200 to target VNX5200 which is located on disaster recovery site.
Now the 80% of the total size is finished, but still 20% is remaining.
I know I should wait the end of the 1st full copy replication .
However, I totally forgot an electrical maintenance of the building where the source VNX is settled is on this weekend.
So I have to shutdown the source.
What would be happened for the 1st replication?
Will the replication session be restarted automatically? Or will the session be aborted and so do i need to create new one again?
Or is it okay to stop the session with nas_replicate command before the maintenance, and I can start the session later?
Regards.

from what I remember the initial fully copy is not restartable
so you will have to start again from 0%

Well,, according to nas_replicate -info result, the both amount of Current Transfer Size and Current Transfer Remain stays as before the shutdown. But Estimated Completion Time shows the date which seems the 1st full copy replication would end on.
So, I'm kinda confused. Is the replication keeping the session? or Has the new session started?
