VNXe 3150 Disk replacement

My VNXe 3150 has faulted a disk , my array consists of Segate 900G 10k.5 SAS drives FW CS18

The faulted disk went to a degraded/warning state [10] and the hot spare kicked in.

I have replace one disk a year ago sucessfully with the same CS18 Firmware

This time i receive a certified disk, however it is an Hitachi disk with a different firmware, although it spun up and the SAN reported via email it was resyncing.

After 14 hours the new Histachi disk is still in the degraded/warning [10} state and the hotspare is still inuse

Should I wait longer or is there an issue?

Never mind, it actually took 18 hours to resync. I had forgotten how long it really takes and was worried about the new firmware in the Hitachi Disk - apparently its compatible with the SAN.
