VNX5700 - Unisphere can't display FS - Service is unavailable on the System [CS IP address]
Hello,
My problem is that I can't see my files ystems in the Unisphere, displaying the following message: : Service is unavailable on the System [CS IP address]
I have launched a nas_checkup and there's no error.
Looking by ssh session I can see my FS and all can be mounted and used by the end users.
Do you have any idea about that ?
KR,
Renata

Hello guys, thank you for your responses.
Finally, after an installation of an old jre 1.6 32 bit for windows7, Unisphere is working fine and I'm able to see and manage my FS. Very thank you!

Given that your users are accessing your filesystems, it sounds like the services on the CS are hung up.
Have you failed over the CS recently? If not, you might try a failover/failback and see if restarting the services on the CS works.
Failing that, I would open an SR with EMC Support and ask them to check. While you're waiting, I would like for things on the CS like available disk space (df - check for any filesystems on the CS that are-or-near full) and running processes (top - check for processes using an inordinate amount of RAM or CPU).
Let us know if that helps!

I have seen this before. There must be a kb too.
This is due to some combination like jre 1.8/unisphere client version/vnx file code. Latest unisphere client can address this.
