VNX SP in BIOS reboot loop

Hi! i've had this issue with one of my storage processors stuck in a reboot loop, where the status light on the back flashes amber at 1/4hz, and when i access it through the serial cable, i see the system trying to boot past bios, but ends up retrying over and over again... has anybody got any idea what i could try? remove the cmos battery for a while? reseat the processor? i'm out of ideas myself...

the SP's serialnumber is 110-140-404B, and these cost around 999$ on ebay
