VNX Force delete of storage pool?
I have a failed storage pool, and I need to force delete it as it's taking up the entire array.
I tried the following but it's been "Destroying" for the past week and is still reporting 0% complete.
> naviseccli -h vnx3-spa storagepool -destroy -id 0 -o
Unable to destroy the Storage Pool because it is Destroying

Hello, please open a Service Request for this issue, as it's unlikely we'll be able to assist you properly through the message board.
Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience.

we bought the array used. Turns out it has lots of bad drives, even the spares are bad, so the pool failed and I cant delete it.

You do own EMC equipment, though. If you don't have an account because you don't have a support contract, just call in to Support and we can assist on a Time & Materials basis.
You can call Dell EMC Technical Support at 800-SVC-4EMC
(+1 800 782-4362
).

Good news! We offer a service which can re-certify your array, as well as establish support services and a fully-supported service contract for your system.
When you call in to Support, tell them exactly what you just mentioned, and they can set you up with a Certification service.
Once your system is re-certified and you have a proper customer ID and account, we can get those bad drives replaced and clean up that storage pool issue, which I'm (now) certain is directly related to the bad drives.
Additionally, you'll get access to the entire EMC Support website, which will allow you access to the Knowledgebase, as well as lots of other self-service options.
