You can install JAVA 1.7.51 - that seems to work the best for me and I'm using Win7 and IE11. You'll still get some warnings when you first start it, but I just click on the OK and the Run this time and it works. You may need to add the IP address to the Security section.
Because I need to access older arrays (CX3 and CX4) I also have 1.6.30 installed and that will also work on VNX1 and VNX2 arrays (and it avoids all the extra security stuff in the newer versions).

-Install JRE 1.7 or 1.8 (I have 1.8 on my PC)
-Install Unisphere Client on your PC (you can find this in support.emc.com -> download for your array)
-IE may be the only browser with Java support these days, but you may be able to find Firefox with Java support (regular firefox also removed JRE support)
-Use the unisphere client and provide your array's IP address to access the Unisphere GUI

You could also try the compatibility settings of internet explorer. (Settings menu). Add the IPs of the SPs (+ control stations if it's a unified VNX) and try again.

On Windows 7, I used 1.7u76 32bit Java and "downgraded" Firefox to version 49.0b9. You'll have to activate Java in the browser every session. Mozilla and the Java site both have archive sections. Hope this helps.
