Thick luns and consumed storage
Hello,
Awhile back I defined some file system cluster luns using thick luns. I know that I can see consumed space via thin luns, however, when I look in M&R, thick luns show all space consumed which I understand and would expect.
Is there any way for me to see what the consumed amount of space is on a thick lun without having to go to the server?
Many thanks!

Thank you!
Just checking if there was a CLI function that would actually be able to tell me what was really used. I didn't this so but thought I would give it a try. The luns defined are thick pool luns.

not sure what you mean
on the storage thick LUNs have are fully allocated/reserved
what the host file systems thinks how many of these blocks its using or not only the host knows
for us as the storage to know we would have to understand the plenthora of file system types that a SAN client could use

what is the use case ?
like I said whether a block is really used or not only client file system knows.
If you delete a file on your laptop the "old" blocks are still there - you disk wouldnt know that you no longer need them
