Hi! I think you should run the chkdsk to fix “the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable” error. Here’s how you can do so:

• Firstly, in the search bar, type CMD
• After this, click on Command Prompt & then tap on the Run as administrator
• Then, you will be able to run Windows Command Prompt as administrator
• After opening a command prompt, you need to type the command: C:\Windows\system32>chkdsk /r name of the drive.
