Storage consumption
Hi,
I would like to know why my VNXe3200 shows a higher storage usage (about 3TB higher) than my vSphere- environment does. The four NFS-shares are only used by vSphere. Is it possible to let the VNXe3200 recheck its storage information? I already moved some VMs off the storage, but the usage did not shrink. The usage is higher than the threshold and that keeps me from upgrading.
Thank you for your help

Hi,
This may help https://dell.to/3rf623G
It may also be something you want to call phone support for and they can help with your specific setup.

Thanks for your help. The VNXe3200 does not have any issues with usable space. Both vSphere and Unisphere are showing the right usable space. The difference is the used space of the only storage pool. In Unisphere I see that about 90% is full, while in vSphere about 60% is full (of about 10TB).
I tried to run the healthcheck via uemcli and got two error messages:
1: Error code = Warning: One or more filesystems may be in an unhealthy state. Upgrade may continue, but the recommended course of action is to record this output and contact your service provider. [Error Code: dm::check_filesystems_health_4]
2: Error code = Warning: One or more storage pools may not be in a healthy state. Upgrade may continue, but the recommended course of action is to record this output and contact your service provider. [Error Code: flr::check_if_storage_pool_recovery_is_required_3]
Operation failed. Error code: 0x6000cbc
One or more of the health checks failed. Please refer to Knowledge Base for information on how to resolve these errors. (Error Code:0x6000cbc)
It seems to be the same issue: https://www.dell.com/community/VNX/VNXe-3200-Upgrade-Failure-Health-Check/td-p/7109712
Unfortunately, the VNXe3200 has no support anymore. The TechRefresh (Powerstore or Unity) will be ordered in the next weeks, I hope.
