iSCSI initiator replacement on ESXi host
Hi,
I have a four node cluster of ESXi hosts with iSCSI initiators. I have 2 luns shared among them. One of the ESXi host started showing pink screen error ,So after having the discussion with the hardware vendor the iSCSi card was replaced with the new one. But after the replacement of the iSCSI initiator that host cannot see the luns. What's the issue here and how to fix it?
Regards,
Jitendra

When you replaced the NIC in the host, did you use the same IP address of the old NIC? Did you setup the host correctly to reference the new NIC?
If the other hosts in the node are still able to connect to the array, that means the paths are still working and the SP ports on the array are still working. This appears to be an issue with the ESX configuration logging into the array. You could try to ping from the SP ports to the host NIC (you didn't specify what array you're connecting to). On VNX, you go to Manage Ports, select the SP port that you use to connect to the host, open the Properties for that SP port and you should see a "Ping" option. Use that to ping the host IP address for the new NIC.
