how to update vnx 5200 without updating spa
hi my vnx 5200 has error in spa
i removed the spa and boot with spb and i want to update spb
but after the upload os file show an error for spa and can not be continue.
can help me i want removed spa ?

both SP's need to run the same OE version and an upgrade checks that the system is healthy
any reason not to open a service request ?
with the little info you provide and no logs this is difficult for a forum post ....

I think so you need both SP at the same time to upgrade O.S

just go to support.emc.com
you can open an SR via web there, customer service live chat or phone
you need a valid support contract for this system though
do you have one ?
