We have a VNX5200 in company, monitoring team want us to have access a user which they will be able to monitor vnx with zabbix, however; we want to monitor them that what they are monitoring.

is it possible that can we limit them to minitor?

there isnt that much possible with SNMP

for alerts you can just configure that you get the same alerts they do - just send them to two trap receivers

snmp polling like snmpwalk will only get you standard MIB-II like interface stats

you cant "see" any specific stuff there like file systems or shares or NFS/CFS

maybe just talk to them what they are exactly monitoring :-)
