HELP please

I have EMC VNX 5300, I have halted the storage and upon reboot, i have below issue:

 

I/nasmcd/sbin/getreason
11 - slot_0 secondary control station
10 - slot_1 primary control station
4 - slot_2 configured
4 - slot_3 configured

 

 

If anyone can assist me with this.

What steps did you follow when you powered your system down and then powered back up?

i had the storage box shut down, used the halted command, then i removed the power cables from the CS and then pluged back in after some time.

Then the slot 2 and 3 were powered off, used below commands to reset:

/nasmcd/sbin/t2reset pwron -s 2
/nasmcd/sbin/t2reset pwron -s 3

 

the storage box is in this condition since then.

i can access both the control station, not looking to reboot or fail back. the issue is, slot_2 and Slot_3 are showing as configured, they should be contacted.

Correct me if i am wrong.

Hello HassanWaheed,

You will need to open a support case, as all other steps will need to be performed by support.  There is not any other customer available links that I can send you to resolve this issue.

Thank You Sam. Just one more thing:

I need to see the disks count, like how many disks are installed and which ones are NLSAS and which are SAS! 

Plus, I need to see what is the raw space and what is the usable space.

 

and lastly, I need to completely wipe off the data in the storage and factory reset it to default.

Think you can help me with this?
