Fast cache performance
Hi everybody
we have a vnx 8000.we are working on sizing.now we have some SAS and NL-SAS disks.we want to use fast cache, too.
I calculate SAS and NL-SAS effective IOPS.but I couldn't find any calculator for FAST cache IOPS.Is it the same as SAS and NLS SAS Formula?
1-I want to know how much percentage of IOPS will increase with the help of FAST Cache?
2-Is there any calculator for fast cache IOPS?
3-How much Fast Cache Capacity should I consider?
4-How much IOPS will handle by SP Cache which is 128GB for vnx 8000 per sp?
thanks

A general rule of thumb that we use is 25:1 - 1 EFD for every 25 spinning disks - this is just a general guideline to get started - you may need more or less depending on you needs.
