Failover / Failback Control Station in VNX5300

Question

I have a problem with the import connection between Unity and VNX.

I need to perform a failover on a VNX5300 Unified,

I need to know if this causes any loss of connection with the clients of the CIFS servers.

Performing a failover generates some unavailability of data from CIFS servers?

No, failover on VNX is fine. Ofcourse for the duration of failover (and cifs server becoming active on standby), there may be an impact.

If this is in Initialization, VNX CIFS Server is still in production. If this is during Incremental copy, there will be an impact with writes/some reads.
