I have a siilar situation, can you guide me where i can find the release notes for  05.33.009.5.231  ?

You can go to the Dell EMC support site - support.emc.com - and in the section "Enter a Dell Service Tag, Dell EMC Product ID, or Model" enter in VNX8000 and click the right arrow button. That should take you to the VNX8000 section  - there you'll find a selection for Documentation, then on the left side select Release Notes - the most current release notes are there - second one on the list.
