EMC VNX5300

Good morning all!

I have a customer with a EMC VNX5300. Bus 0 Disk 0 was faulted, I replaced it with a replacement disk for this unit. However, after replacing and following the steps the UMS, the drive is not being recognized. I have never experienced this issue previously with any EMC product. It has always been a replace the drive and it rebuilds type of thing. Need help in trying to figure out what to do next.

that drive is supported by the Block OE version running on that array ?  Search support website for drive matrix OE compatibility.
