EMC VNX 5150 guides, and how do I properly shut it down and turn in on after it)

Guys I have a situation and really need your help)

We have EMC VNX 5150 connected to a windows 2012 server using fiber channel, and the guy who had set it up quitted the job, without any notes and manuals. So nobody really knows how it is set up.

And soon we will be changing our UPSs, so EMC VNX 5150 must be turned off.

The information about this process is sparse. And I sadly can't get another device to play with and test all its functions, and the most dangerous thing is that full backup is not possible at the moment.

How do I properly turn it off?  Do I need to disconnect FC connection? How to reconnect after everything is back online?
