disk drive replacement issue in vnx5800
Hey everyone,
i'm a bit new in storage field.
i have failed disk in my vnx5800 and tried to replace it but no luck.
im using unisphere service manager, Disk drive replacement wizard to get the job done. after disk drive analysis summery, USM showed me faulty disk in red, after disk replacement i expected to disk become green but that's not happened. its still shown as red. when i check storage itself, there is no sign of faulty disk and everything looks good in system>hardware>disks.
am i doing something wrong?

Im not completely familiar with disk drives and replacing them but I found this How To for your computer model: https://community.emc.com/mobile/mobile-access.jspa#jive-document?content=%2Fapi%2Fcore%2Fv2%2Fdocuments%2F66828
If you have done this step by step and its giving you the issue, the only thing I could think of is maybe a PSU issue (The Power Supply might not be supplying the recommended amount of power)
