Dell-Emc drives
I have a box of drives from a couple of decomissioned VNXe sans. I would like to use them in my lab servers for extra space. Has anyone ever found a way to flash these drives with a more standard bios or make them work in a non-EMC system? In a proliant dl380 gen9 they don't show up as usable drives.

Hello xlntech1,
In order to make the drives usable in another system that is not an EMC system you will need the drive manufacture tool to flash the base firmware from EMC brand firmware to standard manufacture firmware.
