Cannot delete LUNs, after disk enclosure was removed
Hi,
We encountered an issue with removing LUNs after Customer removed one of the disk enclosures. I think it's normal behaviour in that case, but problem is that he can't connect same enclosure again. Is there a CLI command that allows to forcefully remove "orphaned" LUNs and all data linked to it (snapshots etc.)? Of course there's no active support for this array, it's VNX5200

Hi,
Thanks for your question. Try the steps in these articles, but they assume the enclosure is there. There wasn't anything that I could find that does eaxctly what you want without the other enclosure. https://dell.to/3yVUIMS and https://dell.to/42vvYsv
Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Hi, thanks for your reply. But as I can see it refers only to file part of the VNX. And I need to remove block part

Were the last few steps of the first article https://dell.to/3yVUIMS not for removing the block luns? This one might help as well https://dell.to/3z2qFmG

It can not delete lun or pool when the meta LUN broken.
The only way is force delete from the low level command.
