Cannot change IP addresses on VNX5300
Hi All,
I have a VNX5300 that I need to change the IP addresses on. It has a filer (don't ask, never used but that's how it was sold to the client) and obviously SPA/SPB.
We are moving over to a new management range, and when trying to change the IP address (using Unisphere or even https://IP_Address/setup) the details are all greyed out and I cannot do the necessary.
Anything I am doing wrong?
Thanks!

Pretty sure you need to be logged in as Administrator to make that change.

Hi Glen,
I am logged on as the admin. I suspect it's the filer causing the hassles...

I think there is a KB article about changing IP addresses when you have a Unified VNX (backend block and front-end NAS). When you have the FILE part installed, the IP addresses on the block Storage Processes (SPA and SPB) are actually connected to the Data Movers and the Control Station is set up to forward the block IPs thru the Data Movers.
