Batteries are dead

Hello Community,

We have VNX8000 stored in warehouse for more than a year.

Now the batteries are dead and device won't turn on.

Is this normal? Do we have to order new batteries? What should we do to prevent this from happening again?

Thank you.

By batteries, I think you're referring to the SPS, correct?  Have you contacted your local EMC CE?  They can come onsite and assess the situation, and order new batteries if needed.  I'd wager that the SPS won't power on until the batteries reach a threshold voltage.

Let us know if that helps!

I guess they just need recharging.

I would suggest to contact your service provider
