API Framework for VNX series

The VNX and VNXe1 series dont have a native REST API

they have different API's for the block and the file part - like SMI-S block/file, NAS XML API, navicli

Unity and the VNXe1600/3200 are the first systems with a native REST API

BTW

Thank you for your reply on it. This is what exactly we are looking at.

1. We are looking for integrating with EMC VNX and VNXe series from storage snapshot perspective as part of that we need to create/attach/detach/delete snapshots on VNX and VNXe series. Do we have any APIs or SDK for below CLI functions on VNX and VNXe series?

2. Can we have access to those APIs or SDK?

3. What we need to do to get access to them?

Pls. help us in giving the answers for this. We are waiting eagerly for your reply.
