Accessing Control Station cli

Hello all, 

I am new to emc and am attempting to configure and setup a testing system for my workplace. Right now I have a data mover, sp machine, 2 control stations, and a disk array unit. All the equipment was obtained used with no knowledge of any configuration settings. I cannot currently login into unisphere from any port as none of the default logins (sysadmin, nasadmin, service..) are working. I managed to establish a serial connection with the primary control station with putty with the nasadmin login. From here i attempted to add a temporary admin account in order to gain access to unisphere. It did not allow this, it gave me an error say the file oe is not compatible with the block oe. Thats problem 1. Now problem 2, after sitting idle for a while the cs logged itself out and when i try to log back into the nasadmin account it says the login is incorrect now. Any advice or insight that will help me move forward would be greatly appreciated!
