Would it make any sense to mix SRM and Cluster Enabler for Microsoft Clustered guests?

All

I am trying to evaluate the feasibility of mixing SRM and Microsoft dispersed clustered guests in the same solution.

The case is that the vSphere clusters have a few MS Clustered VMs with a lot of RDM volumes attached.

everything is replicated using MirrorView/s.

Now considerations are to use SRM for automating the fail over of datastores, but to use MirrorView/CE for the MS Clustered VM's to increase flexibility.

Is this sane, or are we off the track?

I'm sure we can find good cases for SRM and MSCS work together in the same environment, but not for the same VM or applications.

Example: If you have a SQL DB protected by MSCS so you should leave the VM out of SRM replication.
