VMware npiv and Veritas cluster server CFS

We have a Linux vm for which npiv is enabled and wwn are generated. But those npiv wwn are not visible on switches.... Am I missing something? We have on vm running on one ESXi host and another running on other ESXi host and we want to make a VCS CFS cluster between them for which multiple storage LUNs will have to be shared between them.
