Vmotion between hosts on different subnets

I have 2 ESX hosts. Host1 is on subnet A and host2 is on subnet B. I can vmotion the VMs from host1  to host2. As these VMs are configured with IP in subnet A originally, it seems that I can't access these VMs which are currently located at subnet B now. Is there a way to achieve this without physcically connect host2 to subnet A? Will distributed vswitch or gateway  help? Thanks for your inputs.

There are some vMotion Networking Requirements as stated by VMware.

However, in your case, you need to make sure

virtual machines have access to the same subnets on source and destination hosts.

though your management network for Host-1 and Host-2 can be on different subnets.

Hope this helps.
