Virtual Storage Integrator plugin on vSphere Client 4U2

Hi,

seems to me, that Virtual Storage Integrator 3.0.0 is not compatible to the latest vSphere Client Update 2.

Starting the client throws an exception like this:

Method not found: 'VMware.CustomCtronls.LabelEx

VPXClient.Common.Util.Helper.AddLabel(System.Windows.Forms.Control,

Int32,Int32, System.String, System.Drawing.FontStyle, Boolean)'.

Probably some API change broke stuff?

Clicking away the message finally starts the Client, but every click inside the EMC storage tab throws "index out of range" errors.

Regards,

Thorsten

Thorsten,

Currently the GA version of VSI is not supported with ESX  4.0 update 2, only update 1 and earlier. However, a compatible version is in the process now and should be available for download soon.

Thanks!

The new version of VSI that supports vSphere Client 4.0 Update 2 is now available.  Details are:

VSI 3.0.0.32 Hotfix is now posted in Powerlink at Home > Support > Software Downloads and Licensing > Downloads T-Z > Virtual Storage Integrator (VSI)

Please install this hotfix on any clients where Update 2 is installed.  Thank you.
