Unable to connect AVAMAR to vCenter. Username/Passwd works on vcenter but not on AVAMAR

I am hoping someone can give me some more troubleshooting and maybe solution to this problem.  I lost connection with my vCenter.  I get the following error when I try to log in through AVAMAR

Same user ID will allow me to access the vCenter.  Even changing the userid does not work.

I also am not able to register the vCenter:
