tresspass all luns to reboot spA
I need to tresspass all luns currently owned by spA to spB and then reboot spA.
what is the best way to do this? Is there something I need to be aware of before I do this? would it cause any downtime?

D - to clarify for Tony, would steps would you recommend specifically? What is needed to confirm HA and then which command is best to trespass all the LUNs? I'm rusty on the specifics myself.
Thanks!

Hi
I was able to highlight the luns and tresspass them all to spB. It did not happen immediately though and I had to log out and relog in back into navisphere for them to show up on spB.
Then I disabled write cache. and rebooted spA.
is it really neccesary to disable write cache?
then after spA came back,
I did
./naviseccli -h x.x.x.x trespass mine
if I did not do trespass mine, would the luns automatically go back to the owning sp?
thanks

What is your system model ?
It is always recommended to reset the cache size to zero and disable the cache during SP replacements. I hope the same will be applicable in case of SP reboot also.
All the LUNs will not trespass back automatically, some change in ownership will occur for balancing the load (as full the load will be on the single SP, system will assign some LUNs to peer SP ).

@Matt,
hard to say since tdubb did not specify what OS he/she is using, but it's your typical "powermt display dev=all" on systems that run PowerPath, vSphere storage configuration tab.
