The EMC Celerra Plug-in for VMware is Released!

Hi!  This is a short "cheat sheet" on where to find our new EMC Celerra Plug-in for VMware on Powerlink.  The development team is very excited about the new Plug-in and we are looking forward to your feedback.   Don't be shy!  Tell us what you think.

EMC Celerra Plug-in for VMware

  • A ZIP file containing the GA release of the plug-in and the release notes will be posted on Powerlink by March 10th!
Home > Support > Software Downloads and Licensing > Downloads A-B > Adapters for Third-Party Applications
  • After the GA release, customers with Plug-in related issues should open a support ticket with Customer Service.  The nastoolsupport e-mail alias will remain active for internal EMC users but response time will be limited to 5x9 best effort.

  • A Solution Guide will be posted on the Powerlink VMware Support Page:

  • The plug-in requires DART 5.6.48.701 or above.  This DART release is CMR-11 with some additional changes that were discovered too late to get into the standard release.  Refer to the release notes for more details.

Internal EMC Users can obtain the DART 5.6.48.701 code by March 10th from this location:

Home > Support > Software Downloads and Licensing > Downloads C > Celerra Software

Customers and Partners should follow standard procedures for upgrading to the new version of DART.  Refer to the release notes for more details.

  • A Blackbird simulator based on 5.6.48.701 is scheduled to be available at the end of March.

  • The updated Celerra Tech-book will be available at the end of March.
