SRDF SRA 5.0.1 for Site Recovery Manager 5.0 Now Available!

The SRDF SRA 5.0.1 is now available for download on VMware’s website. It is highly recommend that customers upgrade to this version of the SRA if they are using SRM 5.0. Highlights of the SRDF SRA 5.0.1 include:

• Support for all methods of TimeFinder for recovery and protected side Gold Copies
• TestFailoverWithoutLocalSnapshots is now supported (test failover off the R2 in other words)
• New advanced option IgnoreActivatedSnapshots that allows the user to split the BCVs themselves during Test Failover. Useful with environments that need consistent copies of devices outside the VMware environment.
• Various bug fixes.
